Membership fee structure:
The membership fee (gift) will be either at the basic or executive level. The basic level will be $5,000 per year, the executive level $10,000 per year. Small Wisconsin businesses (defined by the federal government as having fewer than 500 employees) will be offered a discounted fee of $2,500 for the basic level.
Invoicing process:
Companies desiring to participate will be asked to contribute their annual membership fees, by means of an annual letter, as specified gifts to an account that will be set up with the UW Foundation.
Potential for sponsored projects:
The consortium fees are designated gifts. It is anticipated that companies may desire to undertake more formal support of graduate students by means of formal sponsored research agreements, which will be negotiated per university and college policies.
