University of Wisconsin WiSeNet Consortium

Inaugural Workshop - "Sensor Networks and Beyond"

February 9, 2007

http://wisenet.engr.wisc.edu

WiSeNet is a consortium of researchers and industry partners to address the many multi-faceted challenges in designing and seamlessly integrating wireless sensors for practical applications. Some of these challenges include designing suitable architectures for networked wireless communication, network and application security, data privacy, fault tolerance, distributed algorithms and signal processing, optimized communication protocols for emerging RF front-ends, and low-power design at circuit, device, system, algorithm, protocol, and application levels.

This free workshop will feature talks by distinguished speakers from industry and academia.
